Behaviour Contracts

My extensive training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) has allowed me the opportunity to help families with a variety of issues. Some examples include bedtime routines, sibling interaction, social communication, toilet training, homework routines, skill building, personal safety and hygiene. In addition, I have developed a range of behaviour plans for families experiencing problem behaviours in their children including non-compliance, inappropriate verbal behaviour (e.g., yelling, swearing), aggression towards others (e.g., hitting, kicking, biting), destruction of property, self-injurious behaviours (e.g., head-hitting), running away and tantrumming. I have worked with children between 4 and 18 years of age with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down Syndrome, Fragile X, Global Developmental Delay, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Chromosomal Deletion Syndrome,

I am available for a limited number of short term, behavioural contracts which include the following:

  • 1 - 2 sessions to interview caregivers and relevant supports (e.g., school staff, respite worker, etc.)
  • 1 - 2 sessions to conduct observations, assessments, and collect data (i.e., functional assessment, antecedent/behaviour/consequence data)
  • 1 session to review assessment report results and recommendations with the child's social circle

Additional sessions may be contracted on an as-needed basis to develop, model and implement a specific treatment program with the family based on assessment results.
